About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Embedded Systems Engineer to play a critical role in the design, development, and optimization of embedded software for cutting-edge Telematics and IoT-enabled HVAC solutions. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across hardware, firmware, and software domains to deliver innovative, reliable, and connected products. This role exists to bridge the gap between complex hardware constraints and the digital advancements required for a sustainable future.
Work Environment
This role operates on a hybrid schedule: Monday through Thursday, work is onsite with your colleagues, while Fridays offer flexibility to choose your work location based on your specific work requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleLead architecture, implementation, testing, and debugging of embedded firmware and drivers
- check_circleDesign and develop embedded software solutions using C/C++ for real-time applications
- check_circleCollaborate with Applications Systems Engineering to define requirements and validate cloud integration
- check_circleEnsure compliance with industry standards for reliability, security, and performance
- check_circleDocument designs, processes, and changes in accordance with internal procedures
- check_circleTroubleshoot complex system issues involving hardware, firmware, and software interactions
- check_circleSupport product validation, field testing, and deployment activities
- check_circleConduct code reviews and participate in peer programming to ensure development best practices
- check_circleIntegrate connectivity technologies including CAN, Wi-Fi, BLE, and cellular communication
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- verifiedMaster's degree preferred
- verified8+ years of hands-on experience developing embedded systems using C/C++
- verifiedExpertise in CAN, Wi-Fi, GPS, BLE 5.x, and cellular communication
- verifiedExperience with Embedded Linux (Yocto 4.x/5.x), RTOS, and hardware abstraction layers
- verifiedExperience with hardware debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers)
- verifiedExperience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated test frameworks preferred
- verifiedPreferred professional certifications in embedded software or wireless technologies
Nice to Have
Master's degree. Exposure to over-the-air (OTA) updates and remote device management. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated test frameworks. Experience developing connected products for telematics, HVAC, automotive, or industrial IoT applications. Familiarity with cybersecurity practices for embedded platforms. Direct participation in Scrum teams. Professional certifications in embedded software or wireless technologies.
