About the Role

We are seeking a Staff Software Integration Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between software and hardware, designing and implementing drivers and APIs that expose hardware functionality to Python. You will work on systems that are critical to our nation's defense and space exploration, ensuring robust integration through rigorous testing and validation.

In this position, you will manage bootloaders, firmware upgrades, and configuration flashing while utilizing communication protocols like Modbus, MQTT, and OPC UA to bridge software services and devices. You will be part of a cross-functional Agile/Scrum team, collaborating with electrical engineers, firmware developers, and QA testers to trace issues from software logs down to signal integrity on a PCB. The standard work schedule is a 9/80, allowing employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Location & Requirements

This position is located in Huntsville, AL or Roy, UT. Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance (with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 6 years) and the ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP). Travel is required for approximately 10% of the time. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates.
