This opportunity is for an RN Medical Surgical Registered Nurse dedicated to delivering care and creating a therapeutic environment for patients and families with needs ranging from basic to complex. The role utilizes the nursing process to carry out functions consistent with Performance Improvement and hospital policies, demonstrating clinical excellence through proficient practice that enhances the practice environment.
You will assess patients' physical and psychosocial status, identify nursing diagnoses, and develop individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team. The position requires acting as a resource to colleagues, managing complex clinical procedures, and employing critical thinking to solve problems and achieve patient outcomes. You will serve as an advocate for patients, ensuring a calm and supportive environment while adhering to all safety, organizational, and ethical standards.
