As a PACU Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in the immediate post-operative care of surgical patients. This position is designed to allow you to focus on what you do best by providing strong staffing support, advanced technology to streamline patient monitoring, and robust supply chains to keep you fully equipped.
You will be an integral member of a dynamic interdisciplinary team, collaborating closely with surgical and anesthesia providers, therapists, and unit leaders. Your day will involve managing airway support, closely monitoring neurological and cardiac status, and responding promptly to any complications. You will provide initial wound care, ensure patient stability during recovery, and educate patients and families about medical conditions and follow-up measures. The role includes on-call availability during select non-business hours.
