As an Infusion Nurse I, you will provide basic direct patient care to patients in the home or at an alternate infusion site. Your primary focus is ensuring patient safety, continuity, and compliance under a physician's plan of care. Working under close direct supervision, you will initiate, develop, and implement nursing plans of care, evaluating patient progress towards goals.
In this role, you will assess patient needs and physical status at each visit, communicating effectively with the clinical team, medical providers, and families to facilitate continuity of care. You will prepare clinical documentation in real-time, coordinate discharge planning, and respond promptly to patient requests. You will also participate in multidisciplinary team conferences and may assist in precepting and mentoring other nurses during orientation.
Candidates are evaluated based on their active RN license, infusion nursing experience, and demonstrated competency in patient care standards. The selection process includes a review of qualifications and licensure verification.
