This position is vital to ensuring our community is adequately staffed to meet resident care and service needs in accordance with company standards. You will supervise direct care staff as delegated by management, ensuring associate schedules are communicated and distributed at least one week in advance. A key part of your day involves effectively managing and communicating all changes in resident or client needs as updates are made to contracts and plans of care.
You will serve as a bridge between operations and care, managing on-call and after-hours business needs as assigned. This includes effectively communicating staffing shortages and additional needs to supervisors, as well as covering BAH cases when care associates cannot be secured. You will also be responsible for maintaining positive relationships and rapport with co-workers, residents, family members, and community personnel.
The role requires a working knowledge of the organization and basic analytic ability. You will operate and maintain corporate scheduling and billing computer systems according to company guidelines, completing daily billing in a timely manner to ensure state and SOX compliance. Your duties include the weekly review and reconciliation of billing to ensure information is complete and correct prior to finalizing monthly resident billing, as well as maintaining client charts and documentation practices.
