The Behavioral Health team operates within a fast-paced, 48-bed inpatient environment for adults and adolescents. We pride ourselves on a collaborative, multidisciplinary culture supported by a robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership. As a Behavioral Health Assistant, you will be the compassionate face of our team, supporting patients and their families during life-changing events. This role exists to ensure a safe, professional, and empathetic environment for individuals navigating behavioral health challenges.
In this position, you will utilize critical thinking to troubleshoot issues while maintaining a polished, professional demeanor, even in highly stressful or emotional situations. Your day will involve managing basic office equipment and business applications while serving as a vital communication link between patients, families, and the clinical team. You are expected to exhibit exceptional customer service skills and a high level of empathy, helping to de-escalate situations and provide comfort to those in need.
