Pratt & Whitney is working to once again transform the future of flight—designing, building, and servicing engines unlike any the world has ever seen. Because transformation begins from within, we are seeking the people to drive it. We are looking for curious individuals ready to explore a place where talent takes flight beyond the borders of title, country, or comfort zone.
At Pratt & Whitney, the difference you make is on display every day. Just look up. We welcome you into a tight-knit team that takes our mission personally, channeling your drive to make a difference into shaping an organization and an industry that is evolving fast to the future.
Pratt & Whitney's Columbus Forge Blades Module Center (CFB) is seeking an experienced Principal Product Manufacturing Engineer to join our Manufacturing Engineering team. As a key member of the Integrated Product Team (IPT) and the primary manufacturing point of contact for a specific part family, you will engage with Process, Design, Project, Quality, and Structural Engineers to meet delivery commitments to our customers.
In this role, you will provide support to manufacturing operations and drive process improvements to enhance the company's quality and delivery signature. You will own specific parts or part families, supporting the business in identifying and implementing manufacturing process improvements across multiple steps that span the full manufacturing value stream. Your work will span PW internal shops and may include supply chain support components, ensuring we maintain our high standards in a constantly fluctuating environment.
In addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work. This role is designated as Onsite, meaning employees will work primarily onsite as production and maintenance workers are essential to the development of our engines. Candidates will learn more about role types and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.
As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid, or remote. RTX anticipates the application window closing approximately 40 days from the date the notice was posted, though business necessity may require adjustments.
RTX is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, or veteran status, or any other applicable state or federal protected class. RTX provides affirmative action in employment for qualified Individuals with a Disability and Protected Veterans in compliance with Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Vietnam Era Veterans' Readjustment Assistance Act.
