This position serves as a vital link between product quality and the manufacturing process. You will own both quality assurance and quality control, executing standard operational and technical tasks while maintaining the flexibility to adapt task sequences to changing work conditions. The role requires you to apply specialized technical knowledge to implement policies and strategies, supporting technical fields while continuing to build advanced expertise.
In your day-to-day, you will create and maintain essential quality documents, including control plans, inspection sheets, and standardized work instructions, while leveraging process failure mode & effects analysis (PFMEA). You will solve technical issues within established procedures, consulting with senior team members for guidance on complex matters outside standard parameters. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as you may guide junior team members and act as the primary interface between the customer and GE in customer-facing scenarios. Your ability to communicate technical information clearly to stakeholders and team members will be key to integrating individual and team work with overall business goals.

Ability to use systematic approach to problem solve (i.e., 8-D, Fault Tree Analysis, component swap, design of experiments, PDCA, and cause-and-effect diagram). Minimum of 3 years of experience in production quality. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to analyze complex situations and make informed decisions. Knowledgeable with GD&T and print reading. Knowledgeable with measurement systems analysis tools such as Gage Repeatability & Reproducibility. Knowledgeable with process assessment tools such as SPC and capability indices. Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and willingness to learn and grow.
