As a Principal PreSales Systems Engineer for HPE Networking, you will be the technical voice for prospective clients and Global Major customers in Southern California. This role exists to bridge the gap between complex networking infrastructure and business value, ensuring customers understand how HPE solutions outperform competitors. You will partner closely with Territory Managers to qualify opportunities, convert leads into successful engagements, and drive the sales process to closure.
In this position, you will combine excellent sales support and consultative skills with expert knowledge of advanced and emerging technologies, with a specific emphasis on campus and distributed branch networks. Your day will involve gathering client data to tailor innovative solutions, developing comprehensive pitches, and delivering technical presentations to customers, partners, and prospects. You will build proofs of concept to demonstrate feasibility and provide consultative support to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that every solution delivered meets complex customer needs.
This is a Remote/Teleworker position, allowing you to primarily work from home while serving the Southern California territory.
