About the Role
Elwood Staffing is seeking Press Operators for a leading manufacturing client in Longview, TX. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering full-time work with competitive pay ranging from $22 to $25 per hour, depending on experience.
In this role, you will operate automated forge equipment and related machinery to form high-pressure cylinders. The position requires monitoring multiple pieces of equipment simultaneously, reacting quickly to correct operational issues, and performing ultrasonic wall thickness checks. You will also operate forklifts and work within a hot, demanding industrial environment.
Work Environment & Schedule
This position offers various shift options, including a 1st shift (6:30 AM – 6:30 PM) and a 2nd shift (6:30 PM – 6:30 AM). The schedule follows a 4/2 work pattern, which includes alternating weekends. Candidates must be prepared to work in a hot and dirty environment and wear steel-toed boots.
