Established in 2003, Tank Connection was founded on a need for superior customer service in the storage tank industry. Built on excellence and small-town pride, the company has grown into the international leader for bolted storage tanks. Following a transition to a 100% employee-owned company, Tank Connection has become a thriving organization driven by dedicated employees with a relentless pursuit to outperform.
As a Machine Operator, you will be the backbone of our manufacturing process, responsible for operating fabricating machines such as saws, shears, rolls, and brakes. Your work involves cutting, shaping, and bending metal plates, sheets, tubes, and structures to create high-quality tank systems. In this role, you will read job specifications and blueprints to determine machine adjustments, set stops or guides to precise lengths, and position workpieces against dies or blades. You will actively monitor machine operations to detect defects or malfunctions, measure workpiece dimensions for accuracy, and ensure the work area remains clean and orderly while adhering to strict safety procedures.
This position offers a dynamic environment where you will be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, and airborne particles. The workspace may experience extreme cold or heat, and the noise level is typically loud. The role requires physical stamina, including standing, walking, reaching, and occasionally lifting or moving up to 45 pounds.
We are looking for individuals who are willing to work additional hours to meet tight deadlines and possess the problem-solving skills necessary to thrive in a team environment. If you are ready to contribute to a company that values excellence and employee ownership, we invite you to apply for this opportunity to shape your future with Tank Connection.
