As a Repair Technician, you will serve as a vital member of our team environment, focusing on the precise assembly and disassembly of gas turbine engine components. Your work ensures that every part meets rigorous planning, tooling, and workmanship standards. You will collaborate closely with Job Process Controllers and Planning Engineers to complete necessary documentation, ensuring full traceability and compliance.
Your day-to-day involves conducting detailed visual inspections of components for damage, defects, and wear, both before and after welding procedures. You will be responsible for creating quality welds according to blueprints, interpreting dimension and tolerance symbols, and verifying conformance to specifications. Beyond technical execution, you will manage the proper packaging, identification, and movement of finished products, while maintaining all equipment in a safe and operational state.
This position is performed in a dynamic shop environment where physical engagement is key. You will frequently stand, walk, sit, and handle objects, often lifting or carrying items exceeding 50 lbs. The role requires adaptability to work in both cold and hot climates, as well as near industrial hazards. To meet operational demands, a willingness to work extended hours and a flexible schedule is essential.
