Key Responsibilities
- check_circleDesign and implement daily and Early Release Day program components and activities
- check_circleManage day-to-day operations of the Extended Day Program including attendance and records
- check_circleSupervise, train, and evaluate Extended Day Program Coordinator Assistants and Student Assistants
- check_circleEnsure the welfare, health, safety, and whereabouts of every child in the program
- check_circleBuild positive relationships with parents and communicate daily to foster child development
- check_circleMaintain a clean and orderly physical environment and use equipment and supplies conscientiously
- check_circleSubmit lesson plans and supply lists to the Director by the 25th of each month
- check_circleImplement plans created for Vacation Programs and Professional Day Programs
- check_circleDevelop and maintain positive relationships with school staff including principals and teachers
- check_circleCompose and distribute a monthly newsletter to parents and maintain communication boards
