As a Plumber, you will be a vital part of our maintenance team, performing the installation, repair, assembly, and maintenance of plant plumbing systems. Your work will extend to compressed air, chemical, industrial waste fluids, steam systems, and accessory installations. This is a full-time position working a 40-hour week on a 4/10 schedule.
In this role, you will conduct corrective and preventive maintenance, study building plans to determine work sequences, and utilize various tools to cut, thread, and install pipes made of metals and nonmetals. You will also be responsible for joining pipes using screws, bolts, fittings, and solder, as well as testing systems for leaks. Success in this position requires the ability to wear necessary personal protective equipment, including safety harnesses, respirators, and fire-resistant coveralls, and to perform physically demanding tasks such as climbing, balancing, and working at heights.
