As a Maintenance Laborer, you will play a critical role in our maintenance department, assisting Senior Maintenance Specialists and Maintenance Specialists with the day-to-day care of our properties. This position is designed for someone with a strong work ethic who is ready to learn new skills and grow within the trades.
You will be the backbone of our property upkeep, performing essential custodial duties, unit turns, and curb appeal tasks. Beyond cleaning, you will assist with basic repairs in carpentry, plumbing, and low-voltage electrical work, as well as pest control. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on public housing maintenance experience, with the potential to eventually rise to the level of Maintenance Specialist.
This position will remain open until filled. Priority will be given to applications received by 5:00 PM on Friday, May 29, 2026. Candidates must be personally bondable for insurance purposes and hold a valid Washington State Driver's license with an excellent driving record. A Fair Housing Certification will be required within six months of employment.
