The Planner and Estimator serves as a critical liaison between government clients and Centurum's internal production teams at the San Diego depot. This position is funded by Direct Labor Support (DLS) and is central to the financial and production management of the depot's workload. The role focuses on C4ISR equipment repair, restoration, and overhaul processes, requiring a deep understanding of how these complex systems are maintained.
In this capacity, you will leverage data-driven analysis to prepare detailed cost estimates for government-required tasks. You will navigate the full lifecycle of cost estimation, from providing Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates to support government funding requests, to developing formal Quotes in response to Technical Direction Letters (TDLs) and Task Orders. Your work ensures that estimates are grounded in current operational realities and historical data, bridging the gap between technical production needs and financial planning.
Centurum is a leader in defense logistics and support services. As a Project Analyst within the depot, you will collaborate closely with production managers, workload managers, and technical leads. You will be responsible for maintaining a robust database that supports production and financial reporting to the Government, actively integrating final cost data from task closeouts to enhance the precision of future estimates. Success in this role requires building strong relationships with production floor supervisors and Contracting Officer's Representatives (CORs) to ensure seamless communication and accurate planning.

Experience in assembling and preparing documentation and reports to support and reflect progress on requirements, goals, objectives, action items, upcoming events, issues, and concerns. Quality Management System (QMS) experience that is compatible with ISO 9001:2015.
