The Foundry Quality Supervisor serves as the primary technical authority for metallurgy and quality assurance within our green sand, ductile iron foundry. This role is critical for maintaining the metallurgical integrity of our operations, ensuring that every material, process, and finished casting meets rigorous internal standards, ASTM requirements, and specific customer specifications.
As the foundry quality representative, you will act as the bridge between our technical operations and our customers, leading defect resolution and corrective actions. Beyond technical oversight, you will provide hands-on leadership across sand and molding processes, alloy chemistry control, and inspection systems. Your work directly impacts the safety, efficiency, yield, and product consistency of the facility, while you supervise a team of 2-3 Quality Technicians to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
