The Pile Driving NCCCO Crane Operator is a critical role within our marine and civil construction teams, responsible for the safe and efficient operation of mobile and fixed cranes. Whether working on land-based sites or marine environments such as barges and wharves, you will play a vital part in lifting and placing heavy materials, including piles, precast elements, and steel frames. This position demands a high standard of safety, communication, and coordination with site teams to support complex construction activities.
You will operate various crane types, including crawler, rough terrain, and barge-mounted units, to execute critical lifts in diverse conditions. Your day-to-day involves interpreting lift plans and site drawings, conducting pre-start inspections, and adapting operations to changing weather, tides, and terrain. Effective collaboration with riggers, signal persons, and supervisors is essential to ensure precise and safe movements in both confined job sites and over-water environments.
