About the Role
Bo-Mac Contractors, Ltd. is seeking experienced NCCCO Crane Operators to join our team in the Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast area. This role offers challenging and exciting career opportunities focused on marine and civil construction projects.
As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of mobile and fixed cranes, including crawler, rough terrain, and barge-mounted units. Your work will involve lifting and placing heavy materials, equipment, and structural components such as piles, precast elements, and steel frames. You will operate in diverse environments, ranging from land-based sites to marine settings like barges and wharves.
In this position, you will play a critical role in supporting construction activities while maintaining the highest standards of safety, communication, and coordination with site teams. You will execute critical lifts for piles, precast concrete, and steel structures, adapting operations to varying weather, terrain, tide, and access conditions common to marine construction sites. Success in this role requires the ability to read and interpret lift plans, site drawings, and job instructions, as well as the capacity to act quickly and decisively in unexpected situations to protect personnel, equipment, and structures.
