Pilot in Command — Scottsdale, AZ at Jet Linx

About the Role

Jet Linx is seeking a qualified Pilot in Command for our Citation XLS midsize jet fleet, operating under both Part 91 and Part 135 regulations. This role is critical to ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of our aircraft, serving as the primary authority on board for all flight operations.

As the Pilot in Command, you will report directly to the Base Chief Pilot and are responsible for managing duty, flight, and rest times in strict adherence to Federal Aviation Regulations (CFRs) and company procedures. Your day-to-day involves maintaining up-to-date navigation charts and publications, managing electronic flight bag hardware, and communicating effectively regarding standby assignments, trip notifications, and flight reports. You will be expected to demonstrate strong, proactive decision-making skills and embody Jet Linx's core values in every interaction.

Location & Relocation

This position is based in Scottsdale, AZ. Candidates must currently reside within a 2-hour call-out time of the aircraft or be willing to relocate to meet this requirement. The role involves a majority of work completed in and around aircraft and terminals, with the physical ability to move up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.

Travel & Schedule

The Pilot in Command must possess unrestricted ability to travel to Canada and Caribbean countries. The role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays to support our flight operations schedule.

Application & Hiring Process

Applicants must be eligible to work in the US and possess a current passport. The selection process includes a review of your FAA Pilot Record Database, which must be passed with a System Chief Pilot. Candidates must also be able to obtain a U.S. driver's license and an ATP certificate. All safety-sensitive functions require passing a pre-employment drug screen and submitting to random drug/alcohol testing.
