Key Responsibilities
- check_circleTest products for load capabilities, mechanical characteristics, polarity, voltage, amperage, inductance, shorts, grounds, circuits continuity and physical properties
- check_circleTroubleshoot analog and digital circuits to the component level
- check_circlePerform routine repair activities on avionics equipment including surface mount and thru hole solder repair
- check_circleManage the complete repair process including receiving, inspection, cleaning, tear-down, documentation, reassembly and packaging
- check_circleMaintain materials, equipment, and work area in a clean and orderly condition
- check_circleCheck work methods and results for conformance to standards and report progress to supervisors
- check_circleComply with all Environmental Health and Safety policies including wearing appropriate PPE and reporting unsafe conditions
Requirements
- verifiedU.S. Person status required
- verifiedHS diploma or equivalent or vocational/technical education
- verifiedMinimum 2 years relevant experience in electronics
- verifiedExperience in manufacturing or service environment
Nice to Have
AAS degree in Electronics. Prior military experience. Proficiency with test equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers including triggering, waveform capture and comparisons. Knowledge of electronic theory including microprocessor-based products. Ability to give direction and guidance in electronic troubleshooting techniques and repair. Ability to interpret schematics and/or technical drawings. Intermediate computer skills in terms of typing, navigating screens and learning new software programs.
