About the Role
The Prisma Health Physician provides quality medical services to patients of Prisma Health-University Medical Group. This role is dedicated to the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of disease, defects, or injuries, ensuring that medical treatment is rendered consistent with generally accepted professional standards of care. We serve all patients without regard to their ability to pay or their race, creed, color, sex, religion, national origin, or age.
Beyond clinical duties, this position actively participates in non-revenue generating activities that advance our mission. As part of our academic health center, you will engage in committee service, community outreach, and efforts to meet teaching and research goals. You will also contribute to the establishment of quality assurance programs, utilization management, patient education, and patient satisfaction initiatives.
Location and Team
This position is based at the 3268 Physiatry Columbia facility, located at 2 Medical Park Rd, Richland. You will work within the Physiatry Columbia-Practice Operations department, collaborating with a team of providers to ensure the highest standards of medical practice and accreditation.
