About the Role
As a Prisma Health Physician within the University Medical Group, you will be responsible for providing quality medical services to our patients. You will engage in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of disease, defects, or injuries, recommending and prescribing treatments for physical, mental, or functional ailments.
You will render medical treatment consistent with generally accepted professional standards of care, without regard to a patient's ability to pay or their race, creed, color, sex, religion, national origin, or age. Your role extends beyond clinical care; you will actively participate in non-revenue generating activities that advance the Vision and Mission of Prisma Health. As an Academic Health Center, these activities may include serving on committees, community outreach, and contributing to teaching and research goals.
You will work at the Verdae Practices facility (2414 IMA-Endocrinology) as part of the Endocrinology Practice Operations department. This is a day-shift position that requires active participation in quality assurance, utilization management, patient education, and satisfaction programs.
