The Medical ICU Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. In collaboration with medical providers and the multidisciplinary care team, you will provide individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage."
You will serve as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, modeling a commitment to the organization's vision and values to support an unparalleled patient experience. Your day-to-day responsibilities include performing procedures and monitoring as ordered, documenting care thoroughly, and translating complex medical terminology to ensure complete understanding.
