About the Team
Banner Childrens Specialists (BCS) is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Pediatric Pulmonologist to join a growing program in the Phoenix Metro Area. You will become part of an established team of two physicians and one nurse practitioner, working within a high-volume environment supported by a dedicated leadership team. Our Pediatric specialty teams collaborate closely with Gastroenterology, Sleep Medicine, Neurosurgery, Hematology/Oncology, and Cardiology to provide comprehensive care.

About the Role
This position offers a unique opportunity to serve a pediatric population of 350,000+ at Banner Children's at Desert (BDMC) in Mesa, AZ. The role includes both inpatient and outpatient coverage with 7 shifts of call per month, including one weekend. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
Banner Children's at Desert is a state-of-the-art, 206-bed children's hospital designed "Through the Eyes of a Child." It features non-procedure zones like the Forever Young Zone, Sophie's Place, and the Big Outside, which are used for music and play therapy, respite, and relaxation. The hospital boasts a 120-bed Level 3 NICU staffed by Neonatologists around the clock and operates as a Level Two Pediatric Trauma Center. Our Child Life professionals play an active role in ensuring children feel safe and prepared, while a volunteer dog therapy program helps cheer up young patients during their stays.
Location
Mesa, AZ is located just east of Phoenix and is conveniently situated near top universities, an international airport, and multiple entertainment and outdoor recreation venues. The area is also home to several professional sports teams.
