About the Role

This position offers the opportunity to operate with independence while maintaining a keen focus on quality care. Beyond standard clinic duties, you will sharpen your leadership skills by joining a medical team with expertise in occupational medicine. You will have the chance to coach back-office staff, educate nursing staff and students, and directly and positively affect change every day in patients' lives.

As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you will work within a multidisciplinary environment that fosters collaboration, professionalism, and continuous improvement. You will be responsible for evaluating and treating occupational medicine patients, establishing appropriate levels of care, and ensuring operations remain consistent with medical and professional standards. This role involves cultivating relationships with center clients and payers, managing clinical workflows, and providing guidance to colleagues in the absence of the Center Medical Director.

This is a PRN (as needed) position.

Key Responsibilities

  • check_circleEvaluate and treat occupational medicine patients in accordance with medical practice model
  • check_circleEstablish and monitor appropriate level of care for center patients
  • check_circleComplete all medical record documentation prior to end of shift
  • check_circleMaintain and cultivate relationships with center clients and payers while responding to requests
  • check_circleWork with medical leadership to manage clinical and support staffing levels and proficiencies
  • check_circleMasters use of clinical systems to ensure efficiency, optimal coding levels, and charge capture
  • check_circleCall client representatives following employee treatment for initial injury or status changes
  • check_circleEnsure compliance with State Practice Act and Workers' Compensation regulations

Requirements
