About the Role
As a Physical Therapist at Avera, you will be responsible for the daily coordination and delivery of physical therapy services. You will implement specific treatment programs for individual patients and patient groups, adhering to the principles and practices of physical therapy and the department's established objectives. Your day will involve evaluating patients by gathering data from records, interviews, and observations, then developing and implementing individualized treatment plans. You will provide direct therapy services tailored to each patient's physical, emotional, and intellectual capabilities, coordinating closely with rehabilitation, medical, and nursing care plans. Beyond clinical duties, you will maintain accurate documentation, communicate effectively with patients, families, and physicians, and actively participate in educational programs to enhance your professional growth.
