About the Role
This Physical Therapist position is based primarily in Wessington Springs. You will serve as a key member of the rehabilitation team, responsible for the daily coordination and delivery of physical therapy services. Your role involves implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients and patient groups, ensuring care aligns with established departmental objectives and the principles of physical therapy.
In this role, you will evaluate patients by gathering data from records, interviews, and observations to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. You will instruct patients, families, and caregivers in home programs and exercise routines, while continuously modifying intervention strategies based on ongoing evaluations. Beyond direct patient care, you will oversee physical therapy assistants, technicians, and students to ensure safe patient care and smooth departmental operations. You will also collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and other interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
