Presbyterian exists to improve the health of patients, members, and the communities we serve. Founded in New Mexico in 1908, we are the state's largest private employer and a locally owned, not-for-profit healthcare system. Our network includes nine hospitals, a statewide health plan, and a growing multi-specialty medical group, employing nearly 14,000 people, including over 1,600 providers and 4,700 nurses.
Our health plan serves more than 580,000 members statewide, offering Medicare Advantage, Medicaid (Centennial Care), and Commercial health plans. We are committed to supporting New Mexico's well-being through comprehensive care and community engagement.
As a Physical Therapist on our team, you will play a key role in restoring function, independence, and quality of life for patients across a wide range of care settings. This role is hands-on, collaborative, and deeply impactful—ideal for someone who thrives on clinical problem-solving and meaningful patient connection.
You will evaluate and treat patients regarding the application of a wide variety of therapeutic interventions for the rehabilitation of physical function and developmental disorders. Your work will involve overseeing comprehensive rehabilitation programs designed to meet the physical, psychosocial, and environmental well-being of the patient. As a patient advocate, you will promote self-determination by optimizing resource utilization to achieve the highest level of independence and coordinate efforts toward discharge goals.
