The rehabilitation team at Good Samaritan is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our facility in Mandan, ND. This full-time, day-shift position (40 hours per week, Monday through Friday) offers a flexible schedule with no nights or weekends.
You will treat long-term care residents and short-term rehab patients, addressing a wide range of conditions including neurological issues, orthopedic injuries, and balance or gait concerns. The role involves planning and delivering therapy programs designed to help clients recover mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities. You will conduct examinations, establish therapeutic plans, and educate patients and their families on treatment schedules and home exercises. Additionally, you will incorporate current research into daily treatments and may supervise assistants, aides, and students.
An accepted offer is contingent upon passing a drug screen and pre-employment background screening. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required or must be obtained within the first 60 days of employment.
