About the Role
The Physical Therapy Resident (PTR) is a physical therapist participating in a comprehensive postgraduate training program designed to be completed within twelve months. This role exists to bridge advanced academic knowledge with high-level clinical practice, ensuring the next generation of therapists is fully prepared to serve patients across the lifespan in varied practice settings.
As a PTR, you will provide direct care to patients with varied diagnoses while supervising rehabilitation technicians, volunteers, and students. Your day will involve implementing treatment plans based on current theory and practice, performing patient evaluations, and setting goals that evolve as necessary. You will also foster a positive learning environment, offering educational opportunities to department staff on clinical specialties and ensuring that observers and students achieve their learning objectives. This position requires a commitment to meeting departmental productivity standards while taking an active role in servicing patients with immediate needs.

To be considered for this position, candidates must be currently enrolled in a PT Doctorate program. Please note that all required certifications, including Basic Life Support (BLS), must be obtained upon hire unless otherwise stated.
