About the Role

This position is more than a career; it is a calling. As a Physical Therapist at Agnesian Health Plaza, you will evaluate and conduct medically prescribed treatment programs designed to address movement dysfunction and pain resulting from injury, disease, disability, or other health-related conditions. Beyond direct patient care, you will serve as a vital resource within the department, championing clinical excellence, educational advancement, and quality initiatives while fostering the growth and development of both students and staff.

Day in the Life

Your work will be centered on patient-centered therapy services, utilizing standard techniques tailored to each patient's specific condition. You will manage complex cases by developing comprehensive treatment plans and providing essential counseling to patients and their families regarding their care journey and support programs. A significant part of your role involves collaborating with therapy leadership to mentor staff, students, and trainees, ensuring they are equipped with the most up-to-date clinical practices and evidence-based guidelines.

You will also play an active role in process improvement, participating in research projects and quality assurance activities. Your responsibilities extend to the community, where you will advocate for physical therapy services and engage in outreach activities to build collaborative partnerships. Additionally, you will help maintain departmental expectations regarding productivity and financial stewardship while contributing to strategic planning and program development.

Location and Team

This opportunity is based at the WI-Agnesian Health Plaza, Building A, within the Sports Spine department. The role is a regular, full-time position (40 hours per week) operating on a day shift schedule.
