About the Role

As a Pharmacy Technician II at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, you will play a vital role in our mission to help everyone in our communities be their best. You will partner closely with pharmacists to ensure the safe and efficient dispensing of medications, supporting the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy.

Your day will involve preparing, filling, and labeling medications for final authorization, as well as accurately preparing unit doses according to refill lists. You will manage inventory by checking in orders, organizing supplies, and maintaining pharmacy efficiency. Additionally, you will conduct rounds to nursing units to prepare medications for transportation and handle administrative tasks such as ordering medications and communicating with third-party insurance providers. This role is essential to maintaining the seamless flow of care for our patients.
