You will join a dedicated team of 55 Pharmacy caregivers, split between Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians. This role is an integral part of the pharmacy team, supporting Pharmacy Services across acute, community, ambulatory, and specialty locations. We foster a collaborative environment where you can engage in interdisciplinary committees and activities that build teamwork and connection.
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will demonstrate consistent application of knowledge and skills in assisting the pharmacist in the execution of safe, efficacious, efficient, and cost-effective pharmaceutical care. Working under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist or technician supervisor, you will participate in many procedural aspects of pharmacy practice.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include rotating between the main pharmacy and oncology pharmacy, performing IV compounding, and restocking Omnicells throughout the hospital. You will utilize cutting-edge equipment, including automated inventory systems, USP 797 and 800 compliant clean rooms, DoseEdge IV/PO workflow solutions, and Alaris pumps. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment while contributing to quality and patient safety initiatives.
