About the Role

As a Pharmacy Technician at Williamson Health, you will play a vital role in our patient care team, assisting pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications while maintaining accurate drug inventory and records. Working under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, you will ensure the safe and efficient operation of the hospital pharmacy.

Your day will involve a dynamic mix of sterile and non-sterile compounding, handling hazardous medications, and operating advanced pharmacy automation systems like Pyxis and Omnicell. You will serve patients across the entire lifespan, from neonates to geriatric patients, including those in oncology and obstetrics. This role requires the ability to adapt to a high-stress environment, manage frequent interruptions, and maintain intense concentration and attention to detail for prolonged periods. You will also foster a collaborative team environment by supporting new team members and communicating effectively with staff, patients, and families.
