As a Pharmacy Technician at Williamson Health, you will play a vital role in our commitment to patient safety and care. You will assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing drugs, maintaining drug inventory, and keeping accurate records. Working under the supervision of a registered pharmacist, you will ensure the smooth operation of the hospital pharmacy, handling sterile and non-sterile compounding, hazardous medications, and controlled substances in accordance with USP standards.
Your day will involve utilizing advanced pharmacy automation systems and equipment to support neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, obstetric, and oncology care needs. You will foster a team environment by communicating effectively with patients, families, and staff, while adapting to a high-stress environment that requires precision, attention to detail, and flexibility.
