About the Role

As a Pharmacy Technician at Williamson Health, you will play a vital role in our mission to deliver exceptional patient care. You will assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing drugs, maintaining drug inventory, and managing records, always working under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. This role is critical to ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our hospital pharmacy.

Your day will involve a dynamic mix of sterile and non-sterile compounding, handling hazardous medications, and operating advanced pharmacy automation systems like Pyxis and Omnicell. You will serve patients across a wide spectrum of care needs, from neonatal and pediatric to geriatric and oncology, requiring a high level of attention to detail and mental alertness. The environment is fast-paced and high-stress, demanding the ability to adapt to changing workloads, handle frequent interruptions, and maintain a positive, cooperative attitude with hospital staff and patients alike.
