About the Role
As a Pharmacy Technician at Williamson Health, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications while maintaining accurate drug inventory and records. This position is designed for individuals who thrive in a high-stress, fast-paced hospital environment and are dedicated to patient safety.
You will work under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, utilizing specialized equipment such as automated dispensing systems (Pyxis, Omnicell), laminar airflow hoods, and IV fluid pumps. Your day will involve sterile and non-sterile compounding, handling hazardous medications, and ensuring compliance with USP standards. Beyond technical duties, you will be a key part of our team, fostering a cooperative environment by assisting new members, communicating effectively with staff, and adapting to changing workloads.
