About the Role
As a Pharmacy Technician at Williamson Health, you will play a vital role in our patient care team by assisting pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining drug inventory, and managing records. Working under the supervision of a registered pharmacist, you will ensure the safe and accurate handling of medications across neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, obstetric, and oncology populations.
Your day will involve operating specialized equipment such as automated dispensing systems, IV fluid pumps, and laminar airflow hoods while adhering to strict sterile and non-sterile compounding standards. You will navigate a high-stress environment that requires mental alertness, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to frequent interruptions and changing workloads. Beyond technical duties, you will foster a team environment by providing orientation to new members, communicating effectively with staff, and demonstrating a courteous, helpful attitude toward patients, families, and visitors.
