About the Role
As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you play a vital role in delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience while supporting the pharmacy team. You will be the face of the pharmacy, engaging with customers and patients by greeting them, offering assistance, and resolving issues to ensure a positive interaction. Your work directly contributes to the health and well-being of our community by assisting pharmacists in the accurate and efficient practice of pharmacy under direct supervision.
Day in the Life
Your day involves a dynamic mix of customer service and technical pharmacy support. You will register sales, process prescriptions, and handle customer inquiries with courtesy and efficiency. Beyond the counter, you will assist in maintaining a clean and well-merchandised store environment, from organizing shelves and constructing displays to managing inventory and handling web pick-up orders. You will also support the pharmacy department by entering patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, and managing clerical duties like processing third-party claims. Throughout your shift, you will adhere to strict safety protocols, including Good Faith Dispensing policies and state regulations regarding regulated products.
Training & Growth
We are committed to your professional development. You will earn and maintain PTCB certification through our designated training program and state-required registration. We encourage you to attend ongoing training sessions, complete required PPLs, and acquire continuing education credits to stay current with the latest healthcare and pharmacy developments.

Requirements
