Pharmacy Customer Service Associate

This position serves as a vital bridge between our pharmacy operations and the community, delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience. You will work under the direct supervision of pharmacists to assist in the practice of pharmacy while ensuring every interaction is courteous, fair, and efficient. From processing prescriptions to managing store operations, your role is essential to maintaining the high standards of care and service Walgreens is known for.

Day in the Life

Your day begins by engaging with customers and patients, greeting them warmly, and offering proactive assistance with products and services. You will be responsible for registering sales, handling cash transactions, and resolving any customer issues to ensure a positive experience. Beyond the register, you will support the pharmacy team by utilizing systems to obtain patient and drug information, processing prescriptions, and assisting with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.

You will also play a key role in maintaining store standards by keeping counters and shelves clean, constructing displays, and ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products. Whether assisting with photo services, managing web pick-up orders, or handling telephone calls, you will contribute to a seamless workflow that prioritizes safety, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

Hiring Process

Candidates must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. The role requires fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico). We look for individuals with a willingness to learn and grow, offering opportunities to earn and maintain PTCB certification through designated training programs and acquire continuing education credits.
