About the Role
This position serves as the vital bridge between our pharmacy operations and the community, ensuring a distinctive and delightful customer experience. You will work under the direct supervision of pharmacists to assist in the practice of pharmacy while delivering courteous, efficient, and friendly service to every patient and shopper.
Your day involves a dynamic blend of clinical support and retail excellence. You will be responsible for processing prescriptions, utilizing pharmacy systems to manage patient and drug information, and assisting with inventory management. Beyond the pharmacy counter, you will engage customers by greeting them, offering assistance with products, and resolving issues to ensure satisfaction. From handling cash registers and maintaining clean, well-merchandised shelves to supporting photo services and web pick-up responsibilities, you will play a key role in keeping our store running smoothly.
Training & Development
We are committed to your professional growth. In this role, you will earn and maintain PTCB certification through our designated training program and state-required registration. You will also attend ongoing training sessions, complete required learning modules, and acquire continuing education credits to stay current with the latest healthcare and pharmacy developments.

- check_circleAssist pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and verifying medications
- check_circleConstruct and maintain promotional displays and complete merchandise resets
- check_circleHandle telephone calls regarding prescriptions and assist with web pick-up orders
- check_circleEnsure compliance with state laws and company policies regarding regulated products
- check_circleMaintain store inventory by ordering, unpacking, and checking pharmaceutical shipments
- check_circleProcess manual claims for third-party prescription services and perform clerical duties
- check_circleEngage customers by greeting them, answering questions, and resolving issues
Requirements
- verifiedPTCB certification or state required certification/registration
- verifiedFluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
- verifiedWillingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekend hours
Nice to Have
Six months of experience in a retail environment. Prior work experience with Walgreens. Good math skills for filling prescriptions accurately. Good computer skills. Knowledge of store inventory control. PTCB certification.
