As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate at Walgreens, you are the face of our pharmacy and the first point of contact for our community. Your mission is to model and deliver a distinctive, delightful customer experience while supporting the pharmacy team in providing safe and efficient care. You will bridge the gap between clinical pharmacy services and the everyday needs of our customers, ensuring every interaction is courteous, friendly, and efficient.
In this role, you will work under the direct supervision of pharmacists to assist in the practice of pharmacy. Your day involves engaging with patients and customers by greeting them, offering assistance with products, and resolving issues to ensure satisfaction. You will handle a variety of operational tasks, from processing sales and managing inventory to assisting with prescription-related clerical duties. Whether you are helping a customer locate a product in the OTC aisle, managing web pick-up orders, or maintaining the cleanliness and merchandising of the store, your contributions are vital to the smooth operation of the pharmacy department.
We are committed to your professional growth. As part of this role, you will earn and maintain PTCB certification through our designated training program or state-required certification. You will also attend training sessions and complete required learning modules to acquire continuing education credits, ensuring you stay current with the latest healthcare and pharmacy developments.

Six months of experience in a retail environment. Prior work experience with Walgreens. Good math skills for filling prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications. Good computer skills. Knowledge of store inventory control. PTCB certification.
