Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) for our National Branch Network as part of the Consumer Banking and Lending division. In this role, you will participate in the delivery of an exceptional customer experience by building relationships through proactive outreach. You will propose appropriate products, services, and digital solutions to help customers succeed financially, while assisting them with basic requests such as opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications.
You will interact with customers to demonstrate care and build relationships, providing appropriate options for bank products and services. This position requires you to exercise judgment within defined policies and procedures while receiving direction from managers. You will also refer customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners as needed.
Important Compliance Note: This SAFE position involves customer contact and duties that may include offering, negotiating terms, or taking applications for dwelling-secured transactions. Consequently, this role requires compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations. Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements, including acceptable background investigation results. Individuals in this position must also meet the Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z (LO).
Candidates must be able to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays. You must take and pass a required language assessment. The position requires SAFE registration at the time of employment; Wells Fargo will initiate the SAFE registration process immediately after your employment start date. The Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) website provides the necessary MU4R questions and registration required for employment.
Successful candidates must meet ongoing regulatory requirements, including additional screening if necessary. Please note that this position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
