Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) for our National Branch Network as part of the Consumer Banking and Lending division. In this role, you will participate in the delivery of an exceptional customer experience by building relationships through proactive outreach and proposing appropriate products, services, and digital solutions to help customers succeed financially. You will assist customers with basic requests, such as opening new accounts and submitting credit applications, while developing a deep understanding of bank products to connect with customer needs.
This SAFE position involves customer contact and duties that may include the offering or negotiating of terms for dwelling-secured transactions. As such, the role requires compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations. Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements, including acceptable background investigation results. Individuals in this position must also meet the Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z.
Candidates must be proficient in speaking and listening in both Spanish and English, and must take and pass a required language assessment. This position requires SAFE registration at the time of employment, which Wells Fargo will initiate immediately after the start date. Successful candidates must meet applicable financial responsibility, character, and criminal background standards; a current credit report will be used to assess financial fitness, though a credit score is not included in the evaluation.
