About the Role

The Patient Service Representative (PSR) serves as the first connection between Intermountain Health and patients. This role embodies Intermountain values and focuses on establishing collaborative relationships with patients and fellow caregivers to deliver the highest level of customer and patient satisfaction. The PSR ensures a superior customer experience by identifying and resolving patient needs related to patient intake and care.

You will be the organized and compassionate face of our healthcare team at the Alta View Clinic in Sandy, Utah. Whether connecting with patients over the phone, in person, or via secure messaging, you will play a vital part in their journey by scheduling appointments, registering patients, verifying insurance information, and assisting with necessary forms. This position is designed for those passionate about providing exceptional care in an environment that values growth and community well-being.

  • check_circleSchedule patient appointments for visits, procedures, tests, referrals, and consultations
  • check_circleRegister patients by confirming and updating demographic data in the registration system
  • check_circleDocument all patient interactions accurately and completely in the electronic medical record
  • check_circleObtain insurance cards, IDs, and signatures while verifying insurance coordination of benefits

  • check_circleAssist patients with regulatory and billing forms, including scanning paperwork and processing payments

Requirements
