Be the connection that keeps patient care running smoothly. We're seeking an organized, patient-focused Patient Service Coordinator for a 13-week contract assignment in a healthcare setting. In this role, you'll serve as a key point of contact for patients, families, and clinical teams—helping ensure a positive, efficient, and well-coordinated patient experience.
This assignment offers a consistent weekday schedule with meaningful patient interaction, allowing you to support care delivery in a collaborative environment without nights or weekends. You will act as a liaison between patients, families, and clinical staff to support care coordination, ensuring that every interaction reflects professionalism and compassion.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleGreet and assist patients in person and over the phone with professionalism and compassion
- check_circleMaintain and update patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
- check_circleServe as a liaison between patients, families, and clinical staff to support care coordination
- check_circleAnswer patient questions and address concerns in a timely and respectful manner
- check_circleAssist with referrals, authorizations, and coordination of services as needed
- check_circleSupport administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and report preparation
- check_circleEnsure compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards
- check_circleSchedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments, procedures, and follow-up visits
- check_circleManage patient check-in/check-out and ensure accurate demographic and insurance information
Requirements

Nice to Have
Associate degree or healthcare coursework. Previous experience in a healthcare, medical office, or patient-facing administrative role.
