As a Bilingual Spanish Referral Coordinator, you will serve as a vital system navigator and point of contact for patients and families. Your primary mission is to arrange and schedule referral appointments, ensuring seamless coordination between patients, designated providers, and outside specialists.
In this role, you will manage incoming patient referrals, provide patients with necessary information about their appointments, and maintain ongoing tracking to promote team awareness and patient safety. You will act as an advocate on behalf of patients, assisting them in resolving potential issues related to the healthcare system, financial barriers, or social needs. Whether communicating face-to-face or over the phone, you will provide excellent service, ensuring that cultural and community resources are utilized effectively to support our senior population.

Minimum of 1 year of experience processing referrals, as an MA or other clinical/front desk experience. Bilingual capability. HIPAA and AHCA experience. Healthcare experience. EMR system experience.
Skills: Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, Excel, Hipaa, Ahca, Emr, Spanish.
Education: High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience required.
