About the Role
As a Patient Care Technician, you will function as a clinical support partner, assisting the patient care team by performing various tasks and procedures as instructed by licensed professionals. You may also assume the responsibilities of a Health Unit Coordinator, managing unit records, transcribing physician orders, and maintaining supplies. Your day involves prioritizing basic patient care—such as toileting, bathing, ambulating, and comfort measures—while ensuring excellent customer service for patients and families. You will collaborate with RNs and the interdisciplinary team to implement care plans, monitor patient conditions, and foster a safe environment in compliance with safety policies.
